First believe and then see

Why is it so difficult for me to get to know Jesus and Heavenly Father?

Because you may be afraid of losing something or feel like you have to give something up; but the opposite is the case. You can only win.

So that you may know God's mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Kol 2,2-3
Repent therefore, and turn back, hat your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come
from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ
appointed for you.
Acts 3,19-20

Do I have to take the first step?

Jesus has already knocked on the door; it's up to you to open the door! Invite him into your heart. Talk to Him and say: Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart!
You have received the Spirit of adoption as sons and daughters, by whom we cry,
“Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
Romans 8,15-16

How can I be sure that Jesus is in my heart?

The love of God in your heart will show you.

For the love of Christ constraineth us.
2. Corithians 5,14

Jesus Christ
is the same
yesterday and
today and forever.
Hebrews 13,8
What is the easiest way to get to know Jesus and the Father?

It's like in life: we spend time together, friendships develop and love connects us. Through the Bible we learn about Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit connects us. Start reading the Bible, e.g. the Gospel of John, and meet Christians in a community. The adventure begins!
