Messiah
hope and salvation for Israel and the whole world

What is the meaning of life in this world?

Finding out how God wants to go through life with you; and realize that God is always there for you.

Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear
a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isaiah 7,14

I will tell of the decree:

Jahweh said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.
Psalms 2,7

How can God always be there for me?

Through the Messiah, Jesus, God’s Son, this became possible. He is written about in over 350 verses in the Bible.

The words about his coming, his life, his work, his death and his future reign run like a red thread through God's Word.

Arise, shine, for your

light has come, and the glory of Jahweh has risen upon you.
Isaiah 60,1

“I am Jahweh; I have called you in righteousness;

I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations.”

Isaiah 42,6

What was the mission of the Messiah?

He was supposed to bring light into the darkness of this world and firstly free his people and then the whole world from all evil.

The whole people of Israel, yes, the whole world was to be redeemed.

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him

to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
Colossians 1,19-20

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven

given among men by which we must be saved.
Acts 4,12

Did the Messiah succeed in his mission?

Yes, He succeeded, thank God!

But no one in Israel has realized that they have to pay a high price for this, namely their life. Everyone thought he would soon reign

as king.

Nor have we realized that God gave his Son for the world as the price of reconciliation and salvation.
